Yes, Hillary Clinton is the Secretary of State, so what?

Hillary Clinton is now on the minds of pundits and commentators with her outburst at a town hall event in Africa. An individual had the gumption to ask Hillary Clinton what Mr. Clinton thought about a certain topic, granted we learned later that apparently the translation went bad and it was supposed to be Mr. Obama, but Pandora’s box was opened.

I am going to slightly disagree with my conservative brethren here, I find Hillary’s response to be understandable. Not just because Bill upstaged her in North Korea, not because she is stuck in Africa doing annoying Q&As, but because the question was inappropriate. Yes, I said it. Hillary has clearly been stuck in the shadow of former president Bill Clinton for a long time and desperately wants to break out. By all political measure, Hillary has been a rather successful former first lady serving as a senator and ultimately as Secretary of State. Therefore any references to what Bill thinks about political matters, especially current foreign matters, should justifiably send Hillary into a cat clawing death spiral. However the justification ends there, because unfortunately our political elite, especially such high cabinet positions, have an obligation and a duty to act “presidential” and be politically correct.

As you watch the video below, what becomes apparent, is that her reaction while justifiable on a strictly personal level is somewhat abhorrent as a high political office reaction. We simply demand more from the elite political echelon, especially those individuals that interface with the international community. Hillary, for better or worse is the face of America and her behavior has a deep and profound impact on the perception of the president’s office and our country as a whole. Furthermore and perhaps even more importantly, her behavior which can be best described as ‘bitchy’ and at worst ‘PMS-ing high school cheerleader on crack’ will invariably give pause to all voters who once considered a woman for higher office. Secretary of State is an extremely high political position and bears much responsibility and only out shined by the Presidency and Vice (don’t worry Joe, you are not forgotten – regrettably). If Hillary fails to reign in her emotional avalanche as SoS, how can she be trusted as President? My guess is that most people will look at this outburst as that of a hotheaded female and this in turn will damage the probability of any other female ascending to our highest office. Unfortunately the world works in simple ways and if this sets women back, then we should all be angry and upset.

Watch Hillary flip some serious sh*t.

Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State?

First there was much speculation about John Kerry (which would have been a horrible choice) and now there is speculation that Hillary might be SoS. My take is this.

Hillary is a tough gal and I would actually feel safer with her as our diplomat in charge, I can see her telling Chavez or Ahma-wacka-job to bugger off more so than lifeless John Kerry could. However I see this as strictly a tactical move from Obama and serves to harm the conservative cause.

Here is how. There is a huge group of angry Hillary supporters; some voted for McCain and others voted along party lines. They still secretly hope that in 2012 Hillary will run for president. Their hope translates to vigilance! They will be watching this administration like hawks and the second Obama screws up (and I assure you he will) these Hillary supporters will sound the alarm. Coincidentally on the other side of the political spectrum are the angry and battered conservatives/libertarians (like yours truly) who are doing the exact same thing. The more of us the merrier, because we all want to achieve the same intermediate goal – to dispose of the left wing radical Obama. My personal opinion of Hillary in terms of ideology is that she is no different than Obama, just much more patriotic and with bigger balls (figuratively speaking). So we might be fighting for different long term goals, but the method by which we achieve these goals is by exposing the Obama administration. After all, Hillary can’t run in 2012 if Obama is as popular as he is today. Agreed?

So, when Obama places Hillary in such a strong position he not only does himself a service by protecting his foreign policy ass, but much more so, he appeases the Hillary supporters. Now that they are happy, they might drop their guard and reduce their vigilance. Right? Why would they want to see the Obama administration fail if Hillary is playing such a vital role in it.

This is a perfect trap and if Hillary is as shrewd as I take her to be, she will not join this sinking ship. Still, the Clintons have a superior political 6th sense and they may parlay this position into something bigger and better.

Bottom line, Obama is buying Hillary supporters to make his life easier. In the age of communication and the Internet, we need all the help we can get. So for all you Hillary fans out there, don’t fall for this gimmick.

Pumas on the prowl

I started frequenting an unlikely website. Hillbuzz. This has nothing to do with an insect infested mound of earth.

Hill stands for Hillary.

What I am seeing more and more is a rather vocal unity between very angry Hillary supporters who feel cheated by Obama and his ACORN cronies. They are not just bitter, they are doing something about it! They are spreading the word and have correctly identified what I have been saying for a long time – Obama hates America. We may not like all of McCain’s issues and policies, but he will protect this nation and look out for it’s best interest.

So anyway, apparently they know some people who know some people – you know how that goes right? But um, these people are professional and are very much involved in politics. They claim further that there is a lot of silent support for McCain in traditional Democrat enclaves.

Some of the claims are borderline fantasy, but I will be the first to admit – there is something going on. For example the national polls are such that McCain’s campaigning in certain blue locked state make NO SENSE. Then there is the business of the national polls tightening. Similarly, in states where McCain technically should be all over (the leaners/etc), he is virtually absent.

Then occasionally something would pop out on the blogosphere about some insider polls suggesting that the national numbers are out of wack.

Anyway, the latest claim is that Iowa, NH and Maine are in play. Maine!? Yeah you heard me…go check it out yourself.

A very serious warning from Hillary supporters.

I got this from hillbuzz.com and instead of linking it, will paste it here.

During the primaries, anti-Obama blogs on Blogspot.com disappeared left and right: Obama supporters systematically attacked them, reporting them as “adult content” or “spam” so Blogspt would shut them down. Blogspot is owned by Google, and Google’s top executives all back Obama. Wonder if there is a connection there.

Will Bower, one of the founders of Just Say No Deal, just had his Facebook account seized, for unexplained reasons. Bower had been using Facebook to coordinate anti-Obama activities leading up to the election. Facebook’s founders all back Obama. Wonder if there is a connection there.

Before Super Tuesday, Obama’s supporters worked in overdrive to take down anti-Obama sites. The same thing happened before the Ohio/Texas primaries, and before Pennsylvania too. All the MUST WIN junctures in the race for Obama saw increased level of “Big Brother” type electronic activity on Obama’s behalf.

Obviously, November 4th is the last “MUST WIN” left for Obama. His supporters have been reading from the same playbook used against Hillary Clinton, so we have no reason to believe they won’t try the same tricks against McCain supporters.

The funny thing is: Republicans weren’t paying any attention during the primaries and all seem completely surprised and bewildered by what is going on now. Hillary Clinton supporters have seen this horror movie before — we know what happens, we know all the twists and turns. It repeats every night on MSNBC over and over again.

HillBuzz archives go back to February when we started this site to collect every rotten thing Obama and his supporters, complicit with the DNC did. Republicans: read what we went through before every single primary. It’s what’s happening to you now, in the last two weeks of this campaign.

LEARN from our experiences. Rally your troops. Because the media and Obama are going to use the same tired tricks on you, since you haven’t caught onto the game yet.

Time to catch on. ASAP.

What you need to do is all stay hyper-aware: if you see a website you frequent go down, report it’s disappearance on other sites you go to. Team Hillary uses www.HillaryClintonForum.net for these kinds of alerts. We’re sure Republicans have their own versions of the above, possibly places like www.Redstate.com or www.littlegreenfootballs.com. Whenever Obama supporters attacked any anti-Obama sites during the primaries, we immediately alerted each other via www.HillaryClintonForum.net — and everyone rallied to make as much noise about the site disappearances on Politco, news sites, and through emails and calls to everyone we know in the media. Mysteriously, after we did this, most sites magically popped back up again. If the Obama camp sees push back on their efforts to take down the opposition, they relent. If you let them get away with these shenanigans, you only have yourselves to blame.

You are up against people worse than anything McGovern put forward back in ‘72 — they have no decency, no scruples, and if they stooped to making fun of newborn Trig Palin and inventing crazed, incestuous conspiracies about him, you must realize they will do absolutely anything to depress Republican turnout, lower your morale, and breed Eeyores in your midst.

DON’T LET THEM.
